        Device Profile: Mitac Mio 168 Pocket PC

        Mitac claims its Mio 168 is the first Pocket PC with a built-in GPS receiver. In addition to GPS, the device features a 3.5-inch TFT 240 x 320 pixel (QVG) transflective LCD display, a 300MHz Intel PXA255 XScale processor, 32MB ROM, 64MB DRAM, and an SD/MMC slot for memory expansion.


        Its embedded operating system is Microsoft's Windows Mobile 2003 Pocket PC.

        Mitac is also offering an entry-level Pocket PC, the Mio 336, which offers many of the same features as the Mio 168 but without the GPS module. The Mio 168 is said to be priced around $350, while the Mio 336 (without GPS) is $216.
