        Talla-Tech manufactures a rugged PDA for the military which is based on Intel's XScale processor running Microsoft's Pocket PC 2002 operating system. The R-PDA is offered in a baseline configuration with optional customized hardware and software features available, including a variety of communications options.


        Uses for the device, which complies with MIL-STD 810F and 461D environmental standards, include military field operations, situational awareness, and military medical applications, the company said.
