Signage systems support Intel's Open Pluggable Specification
Axiomtek announced a digital signage computer that adheres to Intel's signage-specific Open Pluggable Specification (OPS). Sold either separately or inside the 31.5-inch OFP320, the OPS860 module includes Intel's 2.1GHz "Sandy Bridge" Core i7 processor, 4GB DDR3 memory, gigabit Ethernet and PCIe, dual USB 2.0 ports, plus a VGA port."

Axiomtek announced a rackmountable, 1U network appliance that uses Intel Atom D410 or D510 processors and provides six gigabit Ethernet ports. The NA-320R includes both hard disk and CompactFlash storage, accepts up to 2GB of RAM, and has a PCI Express Mini Card expansion slot, the company says."

Kontron added to its range of rackmount Kontron Industrial Silent Server (KISS) devices with a model offering a PICMG 1.3 backplane and system host board. SeaMicro says it has packed more Intel Atom processors into a new device it claims is the most power-efficient x86 server on the market. Norco announced a barebone, 1U rackmount network security appliance that supports Intel's "Pineview" generation of Atom processors. The FW-7874 offers up to 2GB DDR3 memory, PCI and mini-PCIe expansion, CompactFlash and SATA storage, and four gigabit Ethernet ports with LAN bypass, among other I/O."
