Vibren Technologies announced that it has secured more than $1.2 million
in embedded development business opportunities. Vibren said the

HP'S IPAQ POCKET PCS HIT A NEW LOW (PRICE)
HP has added a new low-end member to its iPAQ Pocket PC product family
-- the model h1935, at a suggested retail price of only $199. The h1935
shares many features with its higher-priced siblings, including the
transflective, backlit color TFT display, an SDIO expansion slot for
Flash storage and peripheral expansion, a removable battery, and HP's
mobile printing software.

The HP Compaq t5700 thin client offers an "ultra small design" with
"desktop-like features and performance at compelling prices," according
to HP. Key features of the device include its powerful 1GHz Transmeta
processor, high resolution graphics, 16-bit stereo sound, four USB
ports, and options for wireless networking and external storage and

REPORT: CONNECTED PDAS TO OUTNUMBER TRADITIONAL PDAS BY 2006
A new report from analyst firm ABI predicts that the overall PDA market
will grow to $10 billion by 2008, with a major portion derived from
Connected PDAs. Despite other research to the contrary, ABI believes
the traditional (unconnected) PDA market will experience modest growth
