Axiomtek is set to ship a compact, rugged, fanless operator interface computer with a 6.4-inch touchsceen. The GOT-1640T is based on a 1GHz VIA Eden processor, and supports both Windows CE and Windows XP Embedded, among other OSes, according to the company.
The GOT-1640T's NEMA 4/IP65 rated front panel combines a resistive touch-screen overlay with a 640 x 480 pixel, 6.4-inch LCD with 250 nits of brightness, a 300:1 contrast ratio, and a 262,144-color pallet. The device targets limited-space applications; it fits a 200 x 150 mm panel cutout and is only 80 mm deep,
