Motorola unveils Windows Mobile based MPx200 smartphone

Motorola today introduced its first mobile handset based on Microsoft's Windows Mobile (Smartphone) software, the MPx200. The device features a clamshell design, GSM 1800/1900 MHz GPRS band coverage, 32MB ROM and 32MB RAM, and an SD card memory expansion slot.

Ability to download Smartphone applications wirelessly
Full Personal Information Management (PIM) functionality through Microsoft Pocket Outlook to view and interact with inbox, contacts, calendar, and tasks
Pocket Internet Explorer -- supports HTML and WAP to view internet sites, streaming video or music files
Instant messaging with MSN Messenger
Utility Pack includes file manager, task manager, space maker, and system information
Downloading capabilities to customize the device with screensavers, home screens, and ring tones of choice
