Infinium Labs has announced a game service for its recently unveiled Windows XP Embedded based game console, and will be giving the console away free to subscribers. The $29.95/month service, slated to go live in November, will be the first end-to-end, on-demand game distribution service, according to Infinium.
The receiver will come bundled with a gamepad, a mouse and the Phantom Lapboard, an "innovative peripheral" that enables players to control games designed for keyboard and mouse usage as intuitively and with as much fidelity on the couch as they are used to in the office, Infineon says.
