E-ten has announced a Windows Mobile 6.1 based phone that includes an FM tuner, transmitter, and TV receiver. The Glofiish V900 also has a VGA-resolution screen, 3.2 megapixel camera, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, and support for an external monitor, says E-ten.

For several years, E-ten's oddly spelled "Glofiish" range has included phones whose screens offer full 640 x 480 resolution -- the X650 introduced in January, and the X500+ introduced last year, for example. The V900 continues the tradition with its 2.8-inch VGA display, adding the ability to send images to NTSC or PAL televisions via composite video connectors.
The V900 is also said to receive TV broadcasts in T-DMB (terrestrial digital multimedia broadcasting), DVB-T (digital video broadcasting terrestrial), and DVB-H (digital video broadcasting handheld) formats, though none of these is relevant to the United States. The device, which includes the extensible whip antenna shown above, additionally has an FM transceiver, capable of either receiving radio stations or broadcasting sound from the phone to a car radio, says E-ten.

Spb Mobile Shell, also used on Toshiba's Portege G810, is promoted as being easily finger-operable and suitable for one-handed operation. The V900 includes an accelerometer that automatically changes any of the phone's screens from portrait to landscape mode when required, E-ten adds.
The V900 has a Samsung S3C6400 processor (see block diagram, here), 128MB of RAM, 256MB of flash, and a microSD expansion slot. The phone comes with a SIM card slot, a 2.5mm headphone jack for audio output, and a miniUSB jack that also relays video signals, according to the company.
The phone has a 3.2 megapixel camera, supplemented with a front-facing VGA-resoution camera for videoconferencing. In addition to GPS, the V900's wireless capabilities include quad-band GSM/EDGE and tri-band UMTS/HSDPA, WiFi, and Bluetooth, according to E-Ten.
